Chandon India has raised a toast to excellence with a historic achievement at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC) 2025, where its entire Made in India portfolio was recognised on the global stage. This landmark moment not only cements Chandon’s reputation for crafting world-class sparkling wines but also shines a spotlight on the growing stature of Indian winemaking.
At this year’s competition, Chandon Délice—a bold and refreshing blend of Muscat, Chenin Blanc, and Trebbiano—captured the prestigious Gold Medal, making it a standout in the global sparkling wine community. The celebration didn’t stop there: the 10th Anniversary Vintage Edition 2015, Chandon Brut, and Chandon Rosé each received Silver Medals, underscoring the depth, diversity, and refinement of Chandon India’s portfolio.
For the Indian wine industry, this recognition is more than awards—it is a breakthrough that highlights the potential of Nashik’s terroir, the craftsmanship of Indian winemakers, and the evolution of consumer palates seeking premium, versatile sparkling wines.
Kaushal Khairnar, Winemaker at Chandon India, expressed immense pride: “Recognition across our entire portfolio at CSWWC reinforces the quality, innovation, and potential of Indian sparkling wines. Chandon Délice winning Gold is especially meaningful—it reflects our vision of creating sparkling wines that resonate with evolving occasions of celebration.”
With this milestone, Chandon India not only raises a glass to innovation but also places India firmly on the global sparkling wine map, proving that the future of fine wine is as effervescent as its bubbles.
